Adelaide's fashion-elite were out in force, headed to the Art Gallery of South Australia for a night like no other in Adelaide. Upon arrival we were greeted by fashionable hosts and directed toward the buzz of action within. Elegantly lit, the interior of the Art Gallery sparkled, proving itself as the true beauty of the night - a mixture of classic old-world charm and modern edge. Flowers, supplied by Adelaide Flower House, also added to the stylish ambiance of the surrounds.
Flocks of glamorous women filled the space, sporting the designs of Josh Goot, Peter Pilotto, Sass & Bide, Cameo, Winston Wolfe, Kahlo, Maurie & Eve, Scanlan & Theodore and Finders Keepers - most of which are stunning Australian brands.
After a little label spotting, we headed outside toward the Patron bar where jars of sweet, pink, petal cocktails were served.
One of our favorite looks of the night... |
Perusing the crowd, we spotted the beautiful Jennifer Centenera, the lovely ladies from Australian Fashion Labels and Kate Bowden, the Deputy Editor of The Adelaide Magazine. What a night! Rubbing shoulders with some of Adelaide's most inspiring, successful women.
The stunning girls from Pride Models |
The crowd began to cluster around the foot of the staircase. The show was about to begin. We took our seats.
Super cool beats set the mood and the stunning girls and guys from Pride Models and Finesse Models strutted their stuff. Designs from Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Willow, Scanlan & Theodore, Alice McCall, Akira, Collette Dinnigan, Suzy O'Rourke and Toni Maticevski graced the stage.
Our personal favourite: Scanlan & Theodore's little white number...

Once the parade concluded more drinks were served, along with light refreshments from Cibo; the gallery was again filled with the buzz of excited chatter - the after party had begun.
Such a beautiful night, celebrating Australian style in Adelaide. If only there were more events like this!!
