Each guest received a glass of Chandon upon arrival and a goodie bag filled to the brim - we loved the Westfield towels & Ecoya candles. After being checked off the list many hung at the uber cool little bar, while others secured a seat. Waiters wandered around, offering mini hamburgers, sushi and biscotti; a very fancy spread. The crowd overflowed into the walkways, many passers-by stopping to check out the action.
The show began with an energetic display from a group of Brazilian dancers accompanied by ferocious drummers. The crowd was in awe, the colours, the movement, the music! What a great start to the show!
As the Pride models graced the stage unbelievable beats from DJ Tink were pumping - it was tough not to start dancing. Looks from Target, Tarocash, Cue, Veronika Maine and Forever New were showcased, highlighting the hottest looks this spring and summer season. Colour played a major role throughout the entire parade, even sneaking into the menswear; aqua blue, lemon yellow and tangerine. Intricate patterns also featured heavily.
Yet another impressive Adelaide Fashion Festival event showcasing style in Adelaide. Westfield West Lakes we will be back.
B&C xx
