Adelaide Fashion Festival is almost here!

If you are not familiar with what the Adelaide Fashion Festival is all about and what it has to offer, we have the answers.

AFF graces Adelaide every spring, showcasing the style and glamor our state has to offer over nine jam-packed days of fashion!

In it's sixth year, the Adelaide Fashion Festival has truly made its mark, becoming a regular addition on South Australian calendars. The event is hosted by the City of Norwood, Payneham, St Peters and The Parade. Determined to out-do last years event by being bigger, better and bolder, this years events will be held over nine days, from 18-26 October 2013, and are sure to leave Adelaide overawed, a fashion overload. The fourteen events that make up the festival ensure there's a little something for everyone. One of the main focuses of AFF is supporting the talented, young, upcoming designers of our state, giving them the platform to showcase their best work, and award one talented person the coveted title of Emerging Designer of the Year.

A new addition to this years festival program is 'Boutique Fashion', where independently owned boutiques are able to have their first interactive runway experience.

And now, it's almost here!

The first event to launch Adelaide Fashion Festival 2013 is bound to set the bar. If you haven't already, be sure to get your tickets to Variety On King William. The event will be held on the 18th of October with net proceeds going to Variety SA- The Children's Charity. The ticket includes a four-course menu vibrantly filled with spring flavors created by Colin & Co, Faraja, Parisi's, The Pot, Mulot's Patisserie and By Blackbird - just think figs wrapped with San Nicola imported prosciutto and Auricchio gorgonzola cheese, cinnamon, nutmeg, mascarpone and pistachio, slightly warmed and drizzled with a special orange blossom syrup… just to get your taste buds going! Don't expect anything less than perfection when it comes to the food, and prepare yourself for fine dining while listening to great entertainment and embracing the hottest trends.

This year the event focuses on eight key trends, and how to captivate a crowd with a perfect race day outfit. Supporting a range of independent designer labels, Variety On King William will not disappoint, with over 110 looks to be showcased from 20 stores, picked by the wonderful Lucy Rose. The models from Finesse will strut their stuff down the runway, showing you what the hottest trends, styles and colours are this season.

Don't worry if you miss out on tickets though, enjoying the fashion from the side lines in some of Adelaide's best restaurants and cafes will still keep you in the loop of what's hot!

So grab a girlfriend and come to Variety On King William this Friday the 18th of October. Tickets are selling fast!
