Variety on King William

The sun was shining, the drinks were flowing and the day was set to begin! Variety On King William was the first event of the Adelaide Fashion Festival. The day was about all things fashion and all things Variety. Mingling begun with everyone gathered in the social garden with a glass of wine in one hand and an appetizer in the other. Watching the crowd roll in was a parade in itself; people sporting a little Josh Goot, some Cameo, YSL and even Givenchy!

Seated on the street, guests made themselves comfortable at their white-dressed tables that ran alongside the 150m runway. The newest Peugeot 2008 was launched at the event, driving down the runway, showing off its features with host Lisa McAskill in the front seat. Thanks to Daniel Jaber for his beautifully choreographed dance piece that payed homage to the Variety charity and a warming speech from a Variety mum.

Drinks were filled and the four-course meal was served, the parade was well under way. The beautiful Finesse models set the day, showcasing over 110 looks featuring 8 different trends all from 20 stores across King William Road. No guest was left questioning the trends of next season. It didn't matter if you weren't a guest of the event the sideline view of the parade was just as good. And Donations to Variety were still gratefully being donated. You didn't have to feel like you weren't part of the crowd as many retailers joined the celebrations, from free make over sessions to hair styling tips or some great fashion advice, the whole of King William came together for such a great cause.

So incase you missed the event...
